Bienvenue dans mon imaginaire fantaisiste où j'apporte une attention particulière aux couleurs vives, aux détails (un vrai travail de moine!... disent mes admirateurs) et aux formes qui ne respectent pas toujours les conventions. Diplômée en arts visuels, j'ai travaillé avec différents matériaux (peinture sur soie, courtepointe, céramique, photographie, peinture sur bois, etc.) avant d'aboutir à l'argile de polymère qui me permet de donner libre cours à mon imagination teintée d'un certain sens d'humour et parfois de sarcasme. On ne regarde pas mes pièces sans avoir le sourire aux lèvres et de l'admiration devant la dextérité requise pour les réaliser. |
Welcome to my whimsical world where I give particular attention to vivid colours, rich details (a labour of love, say my admirers) and to shapes that are not always in line with rules and conventions. After graduating with a fine arts degree, I worked with different materials (French silk painting, quiltmaking, ceramics, photography and painting on wood, etc.) before discovering polymer clay which allows me to let my imagination run wild and infuse my pieces with a certain sense of humour and, occasionally, sarcasm. One cannot look at my pieces without smiling and admiring the dexterity required to create them. |
